An EV charging station supplies electrical power for charging plug-in electric vehicles. Currently, there are three different types of EV charging levels (Level 1, 2 and 3) used for different scenarios. Level 1 charging stations use American regular power outlets (110-120V) for very slow charging; Level 2 EV charging stations use 220-240V and are found in public or commercial parking spaces, near office spaces, and in residential areas around the world; and level 3 stations can provide up to 350kW of power in DC current to fast charge an electric vehicle in about 15 minutes.</
